Mary Crowley and Milo love reading your kind and beautiful reviews

“I really wanted a keepsake of my parents area here in Donegal and by chance when I called into Mary’s gallery she had a beautiful work of art from where they used to live. It is now hanging proudly in my home here in Boston.”

“First time in Ireland and we decided to take a road trip with nothing really planned, just drive each day in our campervan and see where we end up. We came to Donegal and in particular a place called Clonmany, a beautiful, scenic location. On our journey we came across Mary Crowley’s art gallery and we popped in for a quick look, ninety minutes later we were still there chatting to Mary and hearing her stories about her inspiration for her beautiful art. We are now the proud owners of two beautiful original pieces now hanging in our home, and Mary also gave us directions to the locations where the inspiration for these great works came from. Definitely recommend Mary’s artwork and her gallery”

“I have been acquiring several pieces of watercolour artworks from Mary over the years and her attention to detail and service is second to none, she is a true professional in her field”

Hidden Gem in Rural Inishowen - If you are visiting Inishowen Donegal artist Mary Crowley’s studio in Urris is a 'must'. Her studio is truly a hidden gem nestling in the Urris hills on the Wild Atlantic Way. She has beautiful framed original works and Limited Edition prints available to buy and very keenly priced too I have to say. We actually found her at work painting away the first time we visited which was a real treat. We've been back many times since. Her watercolors of the local landmarks (also places she has visited abroad) are so delicate and beautifully composed and a perfect memento of Inishowen. I am delighted to say my family now own several Mary Crowley artworks that take pride of place in our rooms at home. Mary is a delight to meet - so welcoming, full of enthusiasm and energy and with a great sense of humor. We usually call ahead now so we dont miss her, that would be so disappointing .

Great art and lovely artist - We called in and had a great chat to Mary. We bought a print and was good value. We learnt a lot about the area and the sights to see. I’d advise everyone to call in as you tour the Wild Atlantic Way. Visit the website to see the art. We headed over the gap and the art was a welcome break.

Watercolour delights - Mary has her gallery in the beautiful setting between the hills and sea in Urris in Clonmany, Inishowen. Marys work ranges from powerful waves to gentle doorways and local scenes. A genuinely kind artist with a great sense of place and people.
Mary also teaches watercolour technique.

Beautiful Art and a Warm Welcome - We happened along this little treasure along the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route on the Inishowen Peninsula. Mary was delightful. Her art was beautiful and represented the coast and it's towns so well. Mary is self-taught and was willing to share that fascinating journey with us. She was eager to offer recommended sights on the peninsula. Her passion for the area is evident in her work.

Original art and a friendly welcome - Popped into Mary Crowley’s art studio when passing. A wet day and a welcome diversion from the rain. Mary made us very welcome and had on display a good selection of original watercolours and limited edition prints both of beautiful local scenery- which would make lovely souvenirs of a visit to the area, and further afield or other subjects. Mary was very knowledgeable and had some interesting insights on the local area. If we were staying longer in the area I would have been interested in the art classes she takes in the nearby village of Clonmany. A visit is recommended.
