St Mary’s Chapel, Lagg, Malin, Co Donegal: Ireland’s most northerly coast is home to St Mary’s Chapel, built in 1784. It was the emotional response to the undulating hills, that made me want to capture this church in watercolour. I think the paint captured it’s softness and the way the light sat on the hills.
