The Middle Field. A Donegal landscape, each small holding will either have a west, east, south, north, upper, lower or middle field. For me, the Middle field was a place to escape chores. To sit under the shade of the tree, looking out to sea. A daydream place, hidden behind the wall from parents searching eyes. So here is my hiding place exactly as I remember it, enjoy.
